Widerspruch gegen nicht bestanden Master Program[bitte auf Englisch]

Hi,

I am international master student in Bavaria and my study program is in English.

I am about to finish my master program in a month and this is my 6 th semester. The standard duration is 4 semester however many students take extra semesters. In my course, most students took upto 6 semesters and the extension requests were all accepted.

In my case, the problem is that I did not submit the extension document within deadline(its a month late) which causes the 'endgültig nicht bestanden' letter with a right of appeal in a month.

I will be using the apeal. What should be my strategies ? Also what are my chances of success as this issue is different than failing an exam 3 times or so ? Does anyone have an experience about this ?
